Dana Ashbrook

Dan Ashbrook is a successful actor who began chasing his passion since his teenage years. People commonly know him for his outstanding roles in ‘Twin Peaks’ in which he played Bobby Briggs and also for the movie ‘Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.’


Personal life

Dana Ashbrook was born on 24th May, 1967 in the city of San Diego in California. His nationality is American. He is fifty years old as of now and his zodiac sign is Taurus. Dana’s mother D’Ann is a teacher while his father Vernon used to be a director of the Palomar College in drama department. His sister Daphne Ashbrook is an established actress while the other one named Taylor Ashbrook is a writer. Dana began with his solo career during his teenage years when his sister Daphne’s agent saw him perform in a high school play and realized that he was really good. He graduated in the year 1985. He is 6 feet tall and has a ripped masculine body.

Dana Ashbrook enjoys playing tennis and basketball in his free time. He is unmarried as of now and isn’t dating anyone. It has been a long time since the actor has been linked with anyone. Previously, Dana was dating an American actress Marisa Tomei back in 1999. Dana and Marisa were enjoying a good relationship at first but then they decided to part ways.

Career

Dana Ashbrook made his debut in an un-credited role in ‘Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!’ Soon after his debut, Dana took a break for about a decade and then starred as a guest on the TV series ‘Knots Landing’, ‘Cagney & Lacey’ and ‘ABS Afterschool Special’. In 1988, he starred in the horror film ‘Return of the Living Dead’ as Tom Essex. He did another horror film the same year which was called ‘Waxwork’. In the following year, Dana played Joey in “She’s out of control”. Then in 1990, he was cast as Bobby Briggs on ‘Twin Peaks’. While working on ‘Twin Peaks’, Dana starred in various films such as ‘Ghost Dad’, ‘Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat’ and The Willies. He also starred on an episode of the tv series ‘The Hidden Room’.

Dana Ashbrook did many films over a span of thirty years. In 1994, he starred alongside Quentin Tarantino and Jennifer Rubin in the short film titled ‘The Coriolis Effect’, which was a super hit movie. That very year he also starred in the movie ‘Cityscrapes: Los Angeles’. Then in 1995, Dana starred in the science fiction W.E.I.R.D. World. He also starred in the film ‘Comfortably Numb’ in that year. The following year, he guest starred on ‘The Outer Limits’.  Two years later in 1998, he played Seth in the film ‘Interstate 5’ and also guest starred on the TV series ‘Welcome to Paradox’.
