From her biography, Rahel Solomon was born in the year 1988 and she grew up in the Drexel Hill and West Philly. Even if she grew up in Philly, she was born in the country of Sudan and her parents are of Ethiopian nationality. Her family moved to live in Philly, when she was 3 years old and they decided to move to be near her aunt who was living in the West Chester. She is an avid lover of dogs and she is lucky enough to have interviewed Brandon McMillan, the host of the Lucky Dog at CBS3. He was explaining how any dog which is breeder bought or sheltered may be trained in just 7 days.

Her family has 3 children, her and her two brothers, Abel and Samson. She enjoys spending time with her brothers and she took them to a draft in the city of Philadelphia. She wanted that her brothers may be a part of the entire event.

Rahel attended St John’s University and has a bachelor degree of science in the finance. She wanted to enter into banking career since she wanted to make money and to be independent but she did not like math too much. Rahel Solomon started her career with NBC 10 WCAU-TV in the city of Philly and she was a production assistant. She had also worked for WSAZ-TV in the city of Charleston in West Virginia where she was a multimedia journalist. Before joining the CBS3, she was working for two years for The Eyewitness News Team for KCNC-TV based in Denver in Colorado. The first assignments she had after going back to Philly is a ceremony of a Divine Loraine Hotel. She likes the news team family which includes Meisha Johnson, Katie Fehlinger, and Jim Donovan. They welcomed her to join their team.
Rahel Solomon became well known after covering the James Eagan Holmes’s trial, who is the shooter in Aurora Theater and massive flooding which took place in the year 2014 in Colorado.
