Jack Monroe was born in the year 1998. She is a British known to be an activist against poverty issues and wants to campaign for hunger relief. She is also a journalist and a food writer. Jack Monroe grew up in the city of Southend on Sea. His father is David Hadjicostas and his mother is Evelyn. Her father has ancestry in Greek Cypriot. He served in British Army for seven years and worked in fire service in thirty years. He got awarded the MBE in the year 2007 Birthday Honors because of the services he rendered to the families and children. Monroe was born in the family of 4 children.
Career
Monroe is said to be from a working class background and she did 11 plus examination and then attended the Westcliff High School for the Girls. It is a grammar school that takes place in West cliff on Sea. She left the school when she was 16 and it was because she was disillusioned and bullied. She had not enough GCSEs that can help her to progress to the A-Level.
She decided to leave her home so that she can work in the chip Shop school and then she took the job of a call handler of Essex County Fire and Rescue Service. She got a child and she was not able to continue to work with the responsibility of a child and she was not able to negotiate the adjustment to her working pattern and this meant that employment was no longer feasible. She was on the social benefits for 18 months while she was looking to get another work. She was living in hardship and poverty. Her net worth now is not disclosed.
Jack Monroe start to write with the blog, A Girl Called Jack and she was sharing the cheap recipes which she created like a single parent who has a young child and wanted to provide the family meals without passing 10 Euro each week. In the year 2015, the blog changed the name to Cooking on Bootstrap.

Jack Monroe decided to be a non binary in 2015 and she uses they and her pronouns. She got her son from a close relationship with a man. She is a lesbian and she is engaged to get married to Louisa Compton.
