Egypt’s Biography

Egypt Criss is an American reality TV personality, singer and actress who was born on the 2nd of September 1998 as Egypt Jahnari Criss. Egypt was born in the United States to Sandra Denton and Anthony Criss who are famous rappers and pioneers of hip hop music. Egypt is currently aged 20, the only child of her parents and has a half brother named Tyron Moore. Egypt has recorded some music covers which are available on YouTube. They include Titanium by David Guetta, When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars, No One by Alicia Keys and With Your Love by Cher Lloyd.

Although young, Egypt has begun to make a wave in the entertainment industry. This is not surprising as she seems to have inherited fame and talent from her parents who are talents personified. Her father, Anthony Criss, was nicknamed Treach while her mother goes by the nickname, Pepa. Anthony Criss was a rapper in a rap group, Naughty by Nature while Sandra Denton was a member of a female rap group, Salt-n-Pepa. Both parents are successful music practitioners who recorded huge success in the 80s. Surprisingly, Egypt does not owe her musical talent to her parents. She also has an Uncle named Diesel Criss who is also a famous rapper in a group named Rottin Razkals.

Hence, having such a family filled with such amazing and astonishing musical talents, one can but expect nothing less from Egypt. Egypt is famous for her appearance on the reality TV program, Growing Up Hip-Hop. A reality show designed around the lives and experiences of children of popular hip hop stars. Egypt has expressed her desire to pursue a career in acting as well. To crown it all, the talented singer is also the founder of her jewelry line named Be.See.Own.

Criss's career

This further establishes Egypt as multitalented and gifted in many things other than music. At such a tender age, Egypt has started to nurture high dreams and aspirations regardless of her parents’ accumulated wealth. While growing up, Denton tried as much as possible to keep Egypt away from her musical career. Denton ensured that she was properly educated but the interest was embedded in Egypt from the early stages of her life. Denton’s protective nature is still pronounced as she has still not fully supported Egypt’s musical career due to her unpleasant experiences in the hip hop industry.

Is Egypt Married with Children or Divorced?

Of course, the reality TV star is in a romantic affair with Sam but there is no report of marriage yet or children. At a time on Growing Up Hip Hop, Egypt announced that she was carrying Sam’s baby. But it was all a stunt she pulled on her audience. Hence, Egypt is not married, has never been married and does not have a child yet but has a boyfriend.

Egypt’s father and mother are worth 2 million dollars and 15 million dollars respectively. This is coupled with her streams of income from her TV show and her jewelry business.
