Michaela Pereira is a Canadian television personality. She was born on August 26, 1970 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Michaela is biracial. Her biological mother is a Norwegian and father, a Jamaican. When she was three months old, a white couple from British Columbia adopted her. At a young age, she knew she was adopted. All the members of the Pereira family are not of the same ethnic background, which made her a strong advocate for children rights. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University. Though her journalistic career brought her to the US where she has been for several years, she still holds her Canadian citizenship. Presently, she is residing in New York. She is fluent in both English and Portuguese.

Cheyenne graduated from Xavier College Preparatory in 2008 and from Wake Forest University, North Carolina in 2012. Her grandfather Earl Woods, Sr., her biggest mentor, was her first coach and the credit of her success goes to him. She was in the Xavier College Preparatory golf team and won back-to-back Arizona 5A State Championships in 2006 and 2007. While in Wake Forest University, she played for the Demon Deacons. Cheyenne has bagged more than 30 amateur tournaments.
