Michael Imperioli is a well-known actor, director, and writer who hails from the country of the United States of America. Michael Imperioli is popular for his portrayal of the character Christopher Moltisanti on the award-winning television show The Sopranos. Michael Imperioli’s portrayal has won him the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, in the year 2004. It was after this that he was seen in the popular drama television series called Law & Order. It was on this show that he portrayed the role of Nick Falco, an NYPD Detective.


Personal Life

Michael Imperioli was born on the 26th of March in the year 1996, in the city of Mount Vernon, located in the state of New York, in the country of the United States of America. Michael Imperioli’s family are of Italian descent who originally hails from Lazio, Italy. His parents were Dan Imperioli and Claire Imperioli. While his father, Dan Imperioli, was an amateur actor and a bus driver by profession, his mother, Claire Imperioli, was an amateur actress.

Michael Imperioli was educated at the Lincoln School, which is situated in the city of Mount Vernon itself. Later, he moved to the city of Brewster, situated in the state of New York, in the year 1977. He then graduated from the Brewster High School, in the year 1983.

Michael Imperioli got married in the year 1995. He is married to Victoria Chlebowski and the couple lives together in the city of Santa Barbara, in the state of California. The couple together has three children and as described by him on an interview, the entire family avidly practice the martial art form of Tae Kwon Do.

Career

Michael Imperioli’s career began in the year 1989 when he first starred in the film Alexa. However, he achieved true global fame only after he starred in the worldwide hit Goodfellas. It was in the movie that he portrayed the role of Michael Gianco. After this breakthrough role, he went on to star in a number of Hollywood films after which he began writing, producing and starring in TV shows.
