Marguerite MacIntyre

Marguerite MacIntyre was born in the year 1961. She is a producer, a writer and actress of American origins. She started acting in Coronado High school. She performed the first play at the age of 16. She did appear in different regional theatre productions starting at Fahrenheit 451 on Falcon Theatre to Goodspeed and South Pacific. She performed for both off-Broadway and Broadway production for No Way to Treat a Lady, Mata Hari, Weird Romance, City of Angels and Jane Eyre. She was in The Vampire Diaries where she was Sheriff Forbes. In the spin-off of Vampire Diaries known as The Originals, she was its story editor, staff writer and for its final season, she was a supervising producer and a writer.

Other credits are originating Bertha Mason / Scatcherd for Jane Eyre. The director was John Caird. She was Sarah Stone while appearing in No Way to Treat a lady, William Goldman’s adaptation. In Wild Romance, she was Delphi and in Grace Farrell for Annie Warbucks.

Marguerite MacIntyre had stared at Papermill playhouse, Barrington Stage, La Jolla Playhouse, and Scottsdale Center for the Arts, Godspeed Opera and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. While in Los Angeles, she did perform at Falcon Theater of Garry Marshalls and at Matrix Theater of Joe Stern. She had worked for Reprise series for Freud Playhouse and it included a time she worked by her idol called Larry Gelbart. She had done five recordings and she is the recipient of the Dramalogue Award.

Her first role on television was when she appeared like the guest star of sixth season opener for Seinfeld. She played as Miss Rhode Island. From that time, she had been the guest star at The Mentalist, Bones, CSI: NY and CSI: Miami. She had worked on recurring role in The Shield of 2002 and she had been a series regular for The Days. Marguerite MacIntyre got hired to write Pretty Tough, a twenty part web series. It is an adaptation from Liz Tigelaar. The producer is Vuguru Media and the director is Stewart Hendler. She is now writing a feature film called @ Emma which will be produced by Julie Plec for Darko Entertainment.
