Josh Reynolds

Joshua Reynolds is a wide receiver with the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League in the United States. Reynolds was chosen in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams.


Early Life

Reynolds was born in San Antonio, Texas, on February 16, 1995. He is the older brother of Moses Reynolds, a freshman defensive back for the Texas A&M Aggies, and the son of Michele Reynolds.

Reynolds was a member of the John Jay High School Mustangs high school football team, where he played wide receiver and safety. He recorded 44 catches for 667 yards and 48 tackles with three interceptions as a senior and had 102 receptions for 1859 yards and 22 touchdowns throughout his high school career. Reynolds was a three-star recruit out of high school, according to 247Sports.com and Rivals.com. A few NCAA Division I programs, including Oregon State, expressed interest in him. Reynolds visited Oregon State, but the Beavers informed him a few weeks later that the team's recruiting class had filled all of the wide receiver roster spots. Reynolds then committed to Tyler Junior College.

Career

Reynolds had the option of joining the National Football League Draft or finishing his senior year at Texas A&M. Reynolds was named one of the most outstanding prospects in college football by the NFL Network in October 2015. Reynolds decided to stay at Texas A&M University. Reynolds got the F started with four receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown against UCLA. Two weeks later, he had seven receptions for 98 yards and a receiving touchdown against Auburn, and four receptions for 141 yards and a receiving touchdown against Arkansas on September 24. He recorded five receptions for 89 yards and one receiving score in a 45–38 2OT victory over Tennessee on October 8. Reynolds' streak of eight consecutive games with a receiving touchdown began with the Tennessee game. He had 12 receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns in his final collegiate game, the 2016 Texas Bowl against Kansas State. He finished his college career at A&M with 12 receiving touchdowns and yards (1,039). He concluded the 2016 season with the most receiving yards and touchdowns in the SEC. Reynolds attended Texas A&M University and majored in recreation, park, and tourism science.

Reynolds gained 782 yards on 44 catches as a freshman at Tyler Junior College in 2013, earning second-team all-conference honors. He received several offers after a better-than-average freshman season, and Rivals.com ranked him as a three-star junior college recruit. His Texas A&M and Oregon offers were the most famous. After his freshman year, he was offered by Boise State and TCU, among others. After that, Reynolds decided to play collegiate football for Texas A&M.

Reynolds had three receiving touchdowns in the first three games, including victories over Arizona State, Ball State, and Nevada. On September 26, he had three receptions for 106 yards against Arkansas. He recorded a career-high 141 receiving yards on seven receptions in the next game against Mississippi State. He has three receptions for 105 yards and one receiving score against Vanderbilt on November 21. Reynolds had a total of 51 receptions for 907 yards and five touchdowns as a junior. Reynolds set career highs in receptions (11) and received yards in his junior year's final game, a matchup against Louisville in the 2015 Music City Bowl on December 30, 2015. (177). In 2015, he finished sixth in the SEC in receiving yards.
