Claudette Nevins was born as Claudette Wintraub in the year 1937. She is a television, film and stage actress from America. She is still strong at her age of 87 years and she is still active in acting.


According to her bio, Claudette Nevins was born in the city of Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania and she grew up in Brooklyn of New York. She is a daughter of Merchant called Joseph Wintraub and a garment worker named Anna Lander. The two emigrated from Austria to America.

Claudette Nevins  Education and career

For her education, Nevins graduated from School of Performing Arts and in 1957 she graduated from New York University where she got an English Degree.

Career Claudette Nevins started her career on the stage of Broadway performing for the Wall. It is an adaptation of Millard Lampell for John Hersey’s Novel. It was about uprising in Warsaw ghetto. She was with George S Scott. Afterwards, she appeared in Plaza Suite, in Danton’s Death and in White America.

She appeared together with Brock Peters with The Great White Hope, a National Company. The company brought her to live in Los Angeles and afterwards, she started working on the television. She appeared in Love of Live for two years, when she was Laurie Krakauer. She was in the Headmaster where she was the series master, in Husband, Wives, and Lovers. She also appeared in Married: The First Year. She had guest appearance in Three’s Company, Without a Trace, Lou Grant, M*A*S*H, Melrose Place and Barnaby Jones.

Claudette Nevins appeared in the film for the first time in 1961 3D features named The Mask. The film was turned into a cult classic. Other features of the film appearance included Sleeping with the Enemy, Tuff Turf and All the Marbles.

She continued to work in regional theaters where she appeared in The Little Foxes, You Can’t take it With You, King Arther, The Cherry Orchard, The Iceman Cometh, Comedy of Errors, La Shakespeare and Twelfth Night among others.

Claudette Nevins was one of the members of Matrix Theatre Company and appeared in Habeas Corpus of Alan Bennett. With the company, she appeared in The Water Children, Mad Forest and Dangerous Corner. She also appeared in other stage plays such as P.S, Your Cat is Dead, Isn’t It Romantic, passion play and in Philadelphia Story. She is now a member of Antaeus Company and had the appeared with the company in Long Day’s Journey into Night and Hay Fever and in Richard III and King John.

She has also worked with voice-over commercials and on Camera.

Claudette Nevins  Married, Husband& Children

Claudette Nevins was married to Elliot Nevins before, but she got married again to her new husband to Benjamin L Pick and they have two children, together, two daughters, Sabrina Joanna Pick born 1971 and Jessica L Pick born in 1964.
