Cheryl Ladd was born on 12th July 1951 in South Dakota, USA. Her Nationality is American however, her ethnicity is English, Jewish, German and distantly Irish. Her birth name is Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor. Her father Marion Stoppelmoor was a railroad Engineer and mother Dolores Katz Stoppelmoor was a waitress. Among her siblings, Cheryl has a sister, Mary Ann Eichman and one brother, Seth Marion Stoppelmoor.
Not much is reported about her formal education, but it is said that she was a cheerleader in her school days. In her early days of childhood, she had an interest in dancing, acting, and singing. She also had a band in her High School days named as ‘The Music Shop’.

Cheryl Ladd entered Bollywood in 1970 to make a career in singing. He made her debut work as a singer in the animated series Josie and the Pussycats. She also did some commercial advertisement and non-singing roles. She also appeared as a Guest in ‘The Rookies’ and another one in ‘The Partridge Family and Happy Days’.
The role which took her to the stardom is of Kris Munroe in Charlie’s Angels in 1977 till 1981. In 1980, she released her three musical albums which made an entry in Billboard Hot 100 singles. In 2000, she appeared in the film ‘Broadway’. Afterward, she worked in around 30 television films. Cheryl also worked as a Host for Golf Tournaments. Her Autobiography named ‘Token Chick: Women’s Guide to Golfing with the Boys’ was released in 2005.
She later worked in TV series ‘Chuck’ as Emma and ‘Camera Store’ as Elma. In 2017, recently she made a role of Conover’s mom in ‘Unforgettable’.

After separating from David Ladd, Cheryl started dating Music Director Brian Russell with whom she tied the knot in 1981. The couple did not have any child from marriage. But Cheryl has a Stepdaughter named Lindsay Russell from Russell’s first marriage.
