Brett Butler 

Brett Butler was born in the year 1958 and he is American actress, standup comedian and writer. She had the role in a comedy series called Grace Under Fire. She was born in the city of Montgomery in Alabama and she is eldest in five sisters. Before starting to work like a standup comedian, she was working like a cocktail waitress.


Among the notable appearance, it was in ill fated variety series of Dolly Parton. Parton decided to hire Butler to be a writer for the rest of the season. However, the series got cancelled and it was among the lackluster rated show. She was a star of ABC television show named Grace Under Fire from the year 1993 until 1998. In this show, she was battling drug addiction and was spending time in the rehab.

Brett Butler published the memories called Knee Deep in Paradise in the year 1996 and the biography book was about her life before getting the celebrity status. She addressed this time and she ended autobiography before joining the television debut at Grace Under Fire.

In the year 1998 because of the erratic behavior that stemmed from the substance abuse, she got dismissed and the series got canceled. After the cancellation of the show, she moved to life in Los Angeles and in the Georgia farm where she was living with 15 of her pets. In the year 2008, Butler was the head of the fundraiser and she talked freely about her depression, the drug use, her life on the farm and her television work. She expressed the interest to write a new book.

In the year 2011, Butler appeared at Rosie Show and then reported to be sober since 1998. At 2011, Hollywood Reporter article said that as the money ran out, she went to live in homeless shelter to get cover. By this time, she was attempting to make a career comeback and she was working in developing reality TV show on her self professed psychic abilities. She was performing at Downtown Comedy Club at Los Angeles.

Starting in 2012, Butler appeared in a recurring role at CBS soap called The Young and the Restless. She was playing as a girlfriend for ex-psychiatrist Tim Reid. She had also a recurring role like a bartender of the restaurant which Charlie Goodson was frequenting in the FX show named Anger Management and the star was Charlie Sheen.

Brett Butler got married to Charles Michael Wilson in the year 1978. They did not get children and their relationship did not last for long since they got a divorce in the year 1981. Afterwards, the moved to continue her career up to the time she got married again to Ken Zieger in the year 1987. They did not get children and also the marriage ended in divorce. She has a net worth of 15 million dollars.
