Andre Tyler Iguodala is a well known professional basketball player who plays for the Golden State Warriors team in the National Basketball Association, commonly known as NBA. Andre Tyler Iguodala hails from the country of the United States of America and was the NBA All-Star in the year 2012.


Andre Tyler Iguodala has been named twice in the NBA All-Defensive Team. As a player, Andre Tyler Iguodala has won the NBA Championship twice, the first of which came in the year 2015 and the second was in the year 2017. It was in the 2015 finals, that Andre Tyler Iguodala was named NBA Finals Most Valuable Player.

Personal Life

Andre Tyler Iguodala was born on the 28th of January, in the year 1984, in the city of Springfield, in the state of Illinois, in the country of the United States of America. Thereby making Andre Tyler Iguodala a citizen of the country by virtue of his birth itself. Andre Tyler Iguodala’s father is from a Nigerian background while his mother is of the African-American race.

Andre Tyler Iguodala went to the Lanphier High School which is situated in the city of Springfield itself. It was from that school that famous basketball players such as Robin Roberts (a Hall of Fame Player) and Kevin Gamble ( a prominent basketball guard) have graduated from. Andre Tyler Iguodala was a brilliant student at academics and athletics. As a young player he was looked up to and supported the Chicago Bulls and the single most loved and admired player of his was the world-famous basketball player, Micheal Jordan.

Career

As a young basketball player, Andre Tyler Iguodala was first noticed by coaches from all across the United States of America in the year 2000 when he was crowned the AAU National Tournament’s Most Valuable Player. It was in that tournament that he scored the shot that won his team the game at the stoppage buzzer in the final game of the tournament.

Initially, Andre Tyler Iguodala was drafted 9th in NBA Draft of the year 2004 by the team of Philadelphia 76ers. In his Rookie season itself he was dissed by the ESPN host Dick Vitale and that served as motivation for Andre Tyler Iguodala to score better and have a great season as a rookie.

In the year 2012, Andre Tyler Iguodala was snatched up by the Denver Nuggets after multiple trades which involved other NBA Teams as well. That very year, Andre Tyler Iguodala was named the NBA All-Star and in the following year itself, Andre Tyler Iguodala moved to the Golden State Warriors.
