Background

Adam Noah Levine was born on March 18, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. He started his first band, Kara's Flowers while going to the private Brentwood School with companions and classmates Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, and Ryan Dusick. The band released its first album collection, The Fourth World, in 1997, as high school seniors. Kara's Flowers released one single, "Soap Disco," and appeared on a scene of Beverly Hills 90210 before they split up.

Career

Levine and Carmichael came back to Los Angeles in 2000. There, they rejoined with different members of Kara's Flowers and included another member, guitarist James Valentine. The band at that point changed its name to Maroon 5 and released its introduction album collection, Songs About Jane, in 2002. After two years and gradually climbing the charts with hits like "Harder to Breathe," "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved," the album collection went platinum. The popular music recordings transformed Adam Levine into a heartthrob among his female fan base. Maroon 5 earned their first Grammy Award (Best New Artist) in 2004. The band would proceed to win Grammys for Best Pop Performance in 2005 and 2007.

In 2013, Levine entered his fourth season on The Voice, appearing alongside Blake Shelton and newcomers Shakira and Usher, who supplanted Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green as judges for that season. That same year, Levine appeared with his first fragrance line, which features items for both genders. He additionally signed a contract with NBC to help grow new series and specials for them.
