Dana Ruth Bash, nee Schwartz, is a famous American journalist and reporter for CNN. She was born on June 15, 1971 in Montvale, New Jersey, USA. Her father, Stu Schwartz was ABC News senior producer and her mother Frances Weinman, an author and educator of Jewish studies. Dana has a brother David, a video producer in New York City. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Communications from George Washington University, Washington D.C.
