Lyse Marie Doucet is associated with journalism. She is a Canadian journalist who works as a chief International correspondent for BBC news world service. She was born on 24 December 1958 at Bathurst, Canada. She graduated her degree from Queen’s university Kingston. She even completed her master’s degree from university of Toronto. She is described as a very fun loving person to work with by her colleagues. Apart from her various accomplishments, the one prestigious award is, OBE award that means, officer of the order of the British Empire for her services to British broadcast journalism in the year 2014. She has been covering various news assignments for over thirty years. Initially, she started her career as a volunteer, teaching English at very remote places of the Ivory Coast where she lived. She has a very generous heart of reaching out to the needy. She worked as a freelancer, initially for BBC and later she devoted full time to her profession, when she was deployed at Asia and she covered news from various parts of the world.
